Strong recovery in domestic demand and robust consumer spending reinvigorates Saudi Arabia’s retail sector

In the first six months of the year, Saudi Arabia’s retail sector witnessed an increase in retail space and saw a strong recovery in domestic demand following the relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions.

In the capital, underlying demand for residential properties remains strong and is expected to continue to strengthen over the longer term as the government pushes forward with its ambitious target to make the city one of the 10 largest in the world by 2030.
